Our Story

We had a dream to live out side of our current “box.” In a world where our front yard was always changing and so were our neighbors. What started as a joke, became a dream and is now becoming a reality. We will be leaving the life we have known for the past 2 years in Austin, Texas and head out West to start our very own cross county road trip as full timing RVers. We will be bringing with us our most prized possessions, each other and daughter Zoe Mae. To live a life in a tiny mobile space of 230 sq ft. We are often consider crunchy by some people: Attachment Parenting, full term breastfeeding, co-sleeping, cloth diapering, delayed vaccinations, advocates for natural and drug free births, unschoolers and gentle parenting.

Monica’s first job is taking care of our sweet baby girl, Zoe Mae. Currently I am a sales representative for a large chemical company. I am officially a Stay At (mobile)Home Mom. When I am not taking care of Zoe or working full time all I really want to do is nap. That is it, that is all I want to do. No seriously, when was the last time a full -time working mother  SAHM had a nap? Also, in my spare time I look to cook, craft and write.

Derek is a software engineer for a start up tech company. Derek’s alter ego is “Wonder Dad.” He enjoys engineering the shit out of things, making quad-copters, kayak, mountain biking, legos and an ipad games expert.

Zoe’s interest include hiking, playing My LIttle Ponies, running in muddy puddles and trying to carry around her new little sister.
